Back to School!

I have decided that since I only have my station to do hair on Mondays, Wednesdays, and every other Friday and Saturday. I would take up Subsititute teaching. Well today was my first day. I got a phone called from the School where my little sis Lizzie goes and where Katie my older sis works. To be honest I got really nervous when the teacher called. She asked if i could take over her 5th grade call, in my mind I thought I can't do that they are all my size they will eat me alive. I was so nervous that I couldn't sleep last night I thought that I might not hear my alarm so I actually woke up every hour.
This morning I woke up tired but all excited to go back to school its been along time. I knew it was going to be a good day when my little sis Lizzie greeted me right in the front hall way and showed me where to go. Then when the kids came in to class one girl came up to me and said "Wow your pretty" (at least someone thinks I am if only it wasn't a 5th grade girl and more a boy around my age!) . I'm actually blogging from class right now. I'm suprised I got them to all be quite and read. I remember when we had subs we were never nice and never did any work these kids actually want to read or write. When I was in school I just wanted to talk to my friends. All in all I'm havig a great time! I can't wait to sub again!

I know I know I need to blog more, there is no excuse. I have been up to a lot since I blogged last. I've been doing a boot camp and have being trying to get in better shape. Went to Disney on Ice. I also went to the festival of Colors, something I always wanted to do with my old roommate Sarah! My roommate Lizzy got married so I went to Texas. I am now in a play called Children of Eden. I'm moving back home in about 2 weeks so I guess you can say I've been having a lot going on. Here are some pictures of what I've been up to.

I've got a new place where I will be doing hair! I love it, its such a great place. All the girls are amazing to work with. I also love that I am my own boss which means I've gone boothrent (which means I pay a monthly fee to work there, I also have to buy my own stuff but in return I get all the money I make). Its a little hard though since I don't have a full clientel but I'm working on putting myself out there, and I have some great clients that are so supportive of me. I hope to only grow from working here. If you need you hair done or know someone looking for a great new stylist give me a call I would love to do it!

Apparently some people actually read this blog, and would like to see it updated more often, so this is for you. The thing is nothing really to exciting happens in my life so I don't update it but I guess I missed some Holiday like Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years just to name a few that I could've blogged about so here it goes.

HALLOWEEN! Below is a picture with Katie and I dressed up as a Witch and a Pirate with Ryder and Brock and there candy (I think they still have it). They ended up getting so much. It was really fun because Katie and I got to visit all the families in Utah that have kids and see them in there costumes.

THANKSGIVING-

It was really great this year. I went to my parents house and most of the family came over. The food was great but I know that there is a lot more to Thanksgiving then just the turkey! There are so many things I am grateful for that I could go on for days! It was fun that day because some of us went out and played some football. It was amazing and what an amazing family I have. I just wish Joe and Alisha were closer!

CHRISTMAS-

Ah how I love Christmas! This year for some reason to be honest I felt different can't quite figure out why just did. So for any who were around me that day sorry if I wasn't myself or I came off mean I'm sorry. I would say though I did have a lot of fun shopping for presents this year! I also got a lot of great things, but I would have to say my little sis won this year and got a Wii ( sorry joe it was electronic but is wasn't piano lesson on tape and she didn't throw it against the wall). Below is a picture of me and my new niece Shane on Christmas!

NEW YEARS-

This new years was by far the worst new years ever! No offense to Katie but she made me go to this new years eve dance/bash and she couldn't leave because she was in charge and when I said I wanted to leave for a hour she almost put the water works on so I stayed! Lets just say this was a Multi Stake thing and about 40 people came I could go on all day with the awkward things that happened that night but I won't!

All though new years day was fun we went to our parents house and Brad and Lori and their Kids come and we all played on the on the Wii. Below is me singing it was really intense. I hope this up coming year will be even better than last year! Sorry I took so long to update I hope I can be better this year!

This conference Elder Holland talked about how we as people can be angles to others well I would have to agree. Last night in institute we talked about angels and the role of the Holy Ghost and we brought up what Elder Holland had talked about people being angels to others.

I had an expericance today of someone being an angel to me. I haven't felt like myself latley, I just haven't felt happy inside and happy about where my life is right now. I'm sure no one around me has noticed I hide thing pretty well and I try to be happy but inside I just haven't. Well today I was walking to lunch and as I was waiting to cross the street at the cross walk a girl I have never met before asked me a question so I answered it. Well once we got across the street she went one way an I went the other I said "Well have a nice day" and she stopped and sais "You too also you know what you look really cute". I know its just something small and not a big deal but it was something I needed to hear and as I was walking back I thought wow my Heavenly Father loves me. This girl has never meet me before and didn't have to say that. I think we can do small thing that may change someones day and help them fell the love of their Heavenly Father. I hope I can be an angel to someone when they need it and that I can listen to the Holy Ghost and follow his promptings whether big or small. You may never know the affect of what you do and say. It could really help someone.

I was talking to my good friend Callie today and she said she wanted to see more pictures on my blog of my trip. One of the places we went was Niagara Fall, now my brother Joe had never been there but I had along time ago so I was excited to go there! Last time I went I just walked around there so it wasn't to exciting this time though was awesome we went on the Maid of the Mist. The night before my brother was telling my nephew that the boat we were going on went over the falls so all the next day my nephew was so nervous my brother finally made it clear that the boat just goes near the bottom of the falls. I couldn't believe how close the boat gets to the falls its amazing and I'm so glad we had our blue pancos because we would have been soaked. It was a lot of fun though! It all happened when Alisha decided to join this Frozen Dinner enrichment group in her ward so the night before we left to go to New York and Pennsylvania we needed to get the frozen dinners made. So about 11pm we started and we didn't get done till like 1:30am it was good times. I hope they tasted good I unfortunately didn't get to try any but I bet they were great. In the picture above you can see my brother Joe shredding the chicken in a blender he said he felt like he should be working in Mi Ranchito ( thats is favorite Mexican Restaurant in Utah)
You can see how much fun was going on at this point it was about 1:00am at that time!

I am mixing the sauce it didn't look very good and the smell was really strong but it was a lot of fun and I was laughing really hard that happens to me when its past midnight

There is an up close of the sauce doesn't it look great? It has cream of chicken, sour cream, milk, and green chilies. I really hope the people in her ward enjoyed them!

1. At work today this creepy Hispanic guy was hitting on me and saying things like "I want to take you out", "can I have your number" and then said he "wanted to touch me". I finished the cut and called my dad till he left, so then I left to buy some mace. When I got back my mom was there so I felt fine, except he came back then when I wouldn't pay attention to him, he left. Never have I felt so freaked out in my life. (sorry that was long but I had to tell the story)
2. I'm going to Detroit to visit Joe and Alisha on Saturday I'm so excited!!
3. I am thinking about getting lasix eye surgery!

Summer fun 08'

This summer has been full of lots of fun things going on. At the beginning of the summer I got called to be the ward Activites Co-Chair so for the opening social we went up the canyon for tin foil dinners and good old fun!

Also one of the nights Katie an I went up to a Real soccer game with one of our friends I think we had some fun taking some pictures in our awesome sunglass! (I'm really sad because katie lost my sun glasses I bought that night they were so cute!)

Orem had some awesome fireworks so Katie and I went up and meet up with some friends and hap pened to run into Jennica! It was so much fun! Here is a awesome pic of the firew orks! I love the summer and all the towns who have fireworks!

Our ward had an awesome FHE where we had slip and slide so over all this was the summer of our lifes and its still not over!!

My 25th over the Hill birthday party!

I finally made it 25 years old. I have decided that this means I am over the hill in Provo (especially when you single and not married which I am). Lizzy and Katie threw me an awesome party. They decorated the lounge all in black and silver. It was awesome. Josh also made me a video slide show of like a hundred pictures of me! It was cool! Thanks Josh. My parents came and danced the night away. It was awesome. Thanks to all who came. It's been a really good 25 years and I hope I have another wonderful 25 and more!!

I was inspired to write about my mom after reading my cousin Emily's blogs. My mom is the best she is so good at everything I can't think of one thing she can't do she can even fix electronic stuff!! She has raised 8 wonderful children. This picture of me and her was taken on a cruise that she found a great deal on. I hope one day I can be half the mother she is! Thanks mom your the best!!

Wow my family and I just love going to Disneyland!! This trip was a little different because a week before we went we found out that my little sister Lizzy has was it called XP syndrome it where you can't be out in the Sun or near any UV rays. So when we got there we got a special pass that lets you right on the ride without waiting which was nice so didn't have to wait in the lines out in the sun. It was so much fun to have my Brothers Chris and Brad and their families go with us we also spent some time at the beach and visited some of the Temples in the area!

Easter came early this year!! It was fun to be with my family though. This year we went to my Aunt Debbie house in Draper. We had assigned seating I'm not gonna lie I was a little disappointed that I had to sit with the 12-16 years old, I guess that happens when your 24 and not married or engaged but they were fun and the things they talk about were really funny! It was really fun to have my roommate Lizzy with me, thanks to here we have this great picture of everyone there!!

The other picture is of the some of my nephews and cousin on the little little table it was so cute! I'm grateful for the meaning of Easter and Christs atonement for us and that he was risen. Knowing that helped me to enjoy this Easter despite somethings that had happened earlier that week. I hope you all had a great Easter as well!!

CAMILLE!!!!!!

So this is my neice Camille I was just wanted everyone to see how much of a little model she is already at the age of 5. If I was this cute when I was 5 I think all my problems would have not been. She is such a little Diva already her mom tells me she'll pick out her own outfits and also asks if they match and if they look good. It so funny when I go over to my brothers house she always tells me she like my jewerly that I wear. She also says your the one who makes my dad look good because you cut his hair, right?. She is just a doll. I love being an Aunt!!

Tiffany's Birthday at Red Robin!!!

On Monday Tiffany, Mark, Lizzy, Katie and I went to Red Robin to Celebrate Tiffany's birthday. It was oh so much fun. Tiffany got the biggest Hamburger I've every seen and then they brought out the biggest dessert I've ever seen. It was oh so much fun!! Got to love birthdays!

My parents, Josh, Libby and Katie and I went to Salt lake on Friday the 29th to see the Utah Symphony and Three amazing Broadways singer. It was really really amazing. When I go to concerts like that it makes me miss playing my Flute with a band. It was cool when one of the singers Dedicated one of her songs to Katie, Libby, and I. I think her name was Melissa she is the girl in the picture with us. It was really neat to go up and talk to them after the show. Good times Good times.

This is my nephew Luke, he got his hands on the candy called fun dips. I just could help but take a picture of his cute little face. I think he really liked the candy! My friend Megan, who I have know forever, had a party last Friday. It was so much fun. Since then, I wanted to go out and buy a Raclette, but my roommates say it would be a waste of money since I never cook. I told them maybe if I had something like this, it might help. :)
